Frequently Asked Questions

When can I roll my windows down?

We recommend keeping your windows up for 3-4 days. Our installers make sure to put protective tape on the window controls so you don’t forget. If you accidentally forget, we won’t give you a hard time and gladly issue a replacement within reason.

What is the haziness and distortion?

It’s completely normal to see distortion, haziness, and small water pockets on the film after installation. This usually starts to go away within 24 hours. Window tint takes about 4-7 days to fully cure. In the wintertime, it could take up to 2 weeks. Rest assured, if you see something that’s not going away, we have you covered.

Does the tint go on the outside?

No, all window film goes on the inside of the glass. Our installers usually prepare the film on the outside to ensure it adheres to the glass. Window film consists of two visible layers: the disposable premask and glue side which gets installed onto the glass later.

I accidentally rolled my windows down?

More often than not, the film is fine. But we recommend keeping the windows rolled up for at least 2-3 days. If you accidentally rolled your windows down, please stop by our location ASAP. We can inspect the film to make sure everything is okay. We can usually replace a window at no charge if this mistakenly happens within reason.
